EPA Environmental Justice Small Grants Program (EJSG)
EPA financial assistance to community-based organizations and tribal governments to identify local environmental and public health issues and envision solutions through education, training, and outreach. Designed to empower communities facing environmental justice issues.
About this program
Funds projects up to $100,000 depending on availability. All projects must be associated with at least one qualified environmental statute. Verify current cycle on EPA website.
Eligibility
Incorporated nonprofit organizations including community-based organizations, environmental justice networks, and faith-based organizations and those affiliated with religious institutions; federally recognized tribal governments; and Native American organizations including Alaska Native villages.
