About this program
The Youth Opportunities Program provides Missouri tax credits to taxpayers that contribute to approved youth-focused projects, including job training, entrepreneurship, education, and positive youth development activities.
Eligibility
Approved nonprofit youth projects and Missouri taxpayers contributing to those projects; eligible Independence organizations may apply during state cycles.
Requirements
- Apply for project approval through DED during open rounds
- Document youth program goals, budget, participants, and outcomes
- Secure eligible contributions and comply with tax credit reporting
