Eligibility
People who receive or can qualify for SSI and have income or resources to set aside may propose a PASS for a work goal such as self-employment or business startup costs.
Requirements
- Develop a written PASS with a specific work or self-employment goal.
- Identify expenses needed to reach the goal and income or resources to set aside.
- Submit the PASS to Social Security for approval and follow reporting requirements.
