About this program
UTIF provides nonrecourse loans to eligible Utah Phase I SBIR/STTR awardees to help bridge research and development work between Phase I and Phase II federal funding.
Eligibility
Ogden or Utah small businesses with eligible SBIR/STTR Phase I awards planning corresponding Phase II proposals.
Requirements
- Receive an eligible Phase I SBIR/STTR award
- Prepare a corresponding Phase II proposal
- Apply through the UTIF portal and meet program requirements
