About this program
The City of Lafayette Housing Authority administers Lafayette's Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. CDBG funds support eligible activities that benefit low- and moderate-income residents, address community development needs, improve housing and neighborhoods, support public services, or expand economic opportunity within the City's consolidated planning priorities.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit organizations, public agencies, developers, and community partners serving Lafayette residents or neighborhoods may apply through the City's annual CDBG funding process.
Requirements
- Project must serve Lafayette residents or neighborhoods and meet a HUD CDBG national objective.
- Applicant must be an eligible organization or implementing partner under CDBG rules.
- Activity must align with the Lafayette and West Lafayette Consolidated Plan and annual action plan priorities.
