About this program
Missouri's CDBG competitive cycle funds eligible non-entitlement communities for community facilities, general infrastructure, demolition, and other community development needs that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income people and address health and safety concerns.
Eligibility
Eligible Missouri local governments outside entitlement areas; Independence-area regional projects may use other applicable HUD entitlement pathways where eligible.
Requirements
- Apply through the Missouri Department of Economic Development during open cycles
- Meet CDBG national objective and eligible activity requirements
- Submit engineering, environmental, budget, public participation, and compliance materials
