About this program
USDA Rural Development's Rural Energy for America Program helps rural small businesses and agricultural producers finance renewable energy systems and energy-efficiency improvements. Eligible Nampa-area agricultural producers and rural small businesses may use REAP grants or loan guarantees for solar, efficiency, refrigeration, and other qualified projects.

Eligible rural small businesses and agricultural producers with qualifying energy projects.
Requirements
- Meet USDA rural business or agricultural producer eligibility
- Submit energy audit or technical report where required
- Provide project budget, matching funds, and application documentation
