Long-term, asset-backed loans to product development companies and small business incubators/accelerators in Texas. Finances development and production of new or improved products.
About this program
Loans must be fully secured by unencumbered tangible assets at 1:1 LTV ratio. Pure research is ineligible. Loans to be used for capital purchases or working capital.
Eligibility
Businesses with at least 3 years of operating history and 1 year of revenue history. Small businesses must be domiciled in Texas or have 51%+ of employees in-state with fewer than 100 full-time employees. Focus areas include nanotechnology, biotechnology, biomedicine, renewable energy, agriculture, aerospace, and semiconductors.
