Job-training program designed for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients and individuals at risk of needing public assistance. Up to $500,000 per project.
About this program
Target cost is $2,500 per trainee. Links business community with educational institutions to help TANF recipients become independent.
Eligibility
Public colleges or eligible private nonprofit organizations. Trainees must be TANF recipients, individuals at risk of public assistance, individuals earning under $37,000 with a dependent child, or youth ages 18-24 from low-income households.
