About this program
Downtown Arlington’s Storefront Improvement Grant Program helps commercial property owners make facade and exterior improvements that enhance the downtown experience. Eligible improvements include facade enhancements, awnings, painting, landscape elements, signage, accessibility improvements, public art, murals, and decorative lighting inside the Downtown Arlington Business Improvement District.
Eligibility
Commercial property owners and eligible businesses with projects within the Downtown Arlington Business Improvement District boundaries.
Requirements
- Confirm property location in the Downtown Arlington BID
- Submit project scope, estimates, photos, property authorization, and design details
- Complete approved work and provide required reimbursement documentation
