Vermont Training Program (VTP)
Performance-based workforce training grants. Provides up to 50% of training costs (wages or trainer fees) for pre-employment, new hire, and incumbent employee training. Reimbursement-based.
About this program
Grant agreement must be signed before training begins. Reimbursement only after training completion. Open over 30 years.
Eligibility
Vermont employers with full-time permanent employees working in VT. Open to all sectors with priority on twelve Vermont 2020 CEDS target sectors. Training providers must show VTP funds supplement rather than supplant existing training efforts.
