Funding for projects that bring humanities ideas to general audiences through formats including museum exhibitions, documentary films, walking tours, historic site interpretation, and digital projects. Connects the public with high-quality scholarship in accessible and engaging ways. Supports two categories: exhibitions and interpretive programs at historic sites.
About this program
Two funding levels: Planning and Implementation. Implementation awards up to $75,000 with periods up to 24 months. Currently aligned with America 250 priorities under Executive Order 14189.
Eligibility
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, accredited institutions of higher education, state and local governmental agencies, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments. Individuals and foreign or for-profit entities are ineligible.
