Eligibility
Eligible DRS vocational rehabilitation customers may work with counselors on self-employment when it is an appropriate employment goal.
Requirements
- Be found eligible for Illinois DRS vocational rehabilitation services.
- Work with a vocational rehabilitation counselor to assess whether self-employment is appropriate.
- Develop required business planning, feasibility, support, and employment-plan materials.
