About this program
Chapter 380 of the Texas Local Government Code allows the City of El Paso to provide grants, loans, services, or incentives to promote local economic development. El Paso uses negotiated agreements to support projects that create jobs, investment, redevelopment, or other public benefits.
Eligibility
Companies, developers, and projects that meet City of El Paso economic development policy goals and receive negotiated city approval.
Requirements
- Engage City of El Paso Economic and International Development before project commitment
- Provide investment, jobs, wages, site, fiscal impact, project scope, and public benefit information
- Secure city approval and comply with agreement performance, reporting, and clawback terms
