About this program
The Community Asset Finance Program provides forgivable loans to eligible applicants purchasing vacant, abandoned, under-leased, or underutilized properties for community-serving commercial uses that help revitalize corridors and reduce small business displacement.
Eligibility
Eligible Los Angeles County businesses or nonprofits with at least three years of active operations and qualifying plans to purchase and activate community-serving commercial property.
Requirements
- Apply through Genesis LA's CAF program
- Document California registration, LA County business address, and operating history
- Provide property acquisition and community-serving use plan
