About this program
The City of Johnson City receives Community Development Block Grant entitlement funds from HUD and seeks agencies to carry out activities that reduce and prevent homelessness, stabilize and revitalize neighborhoods, create economic opportunity, and enhance the availability, accessibility, and quality of affordable housing in Johnson City. CDBG-funded activities must meet HUD requirements and local community development priorities.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit organizations, public agencies, community partners, and qualified project sponsors serving Johnson City residents or neighborhoods may apply when the City opens its CDBG funding process.
Requirements

- Activity must meet a HUD CDBG national objective.
- Applicant must be an eligible agency or implementing partner under CDBG rules.
