Eligibility
Independent producers, agricultural producer groups, farmer or rancher cooperatives, and majority-controlled producer-based businesses in Illinois may apply for eligible value-added agricultural projects.
Requirements
- Be an eligible agricultural producer or producer-controlled entity.
- Develop an eligible value-added agricultural product or market opportunity.
- Submit a complete USDA Rural Development application during the annual funding window.
