The Skills Development Fund is Texas’ job-training grant program that helps businesses and workers upgrade skills through customized training partnerships with public community and technical colleges or the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.

Texas businesses partnering with eligible public training providers for customized workforce training projects.
Requirements
- Work with an eligible college or training partner to develop a proposal
- Provide training plan, employer commitments, trainee information, budget, and wage data
- Meet TWC grant agreement, reporting, and performance requirements
