State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) - Texas
Federal SBA grants administered by Texas Department of Agriculture to help Texas small businesses overcome obstacles to exporting. Provides Export Stipends up to $10,000 for export-related activities.

Eligible activities include: foreign trade missions, U.S. Commercial Service programs, translation services, market research, trade shows. Pending future federal appropriations - check current status.
Eligibility
Texas small businesses meeting SBA size standards. Must be either 'new to export' or 'market expansion' to enter new markets where company doesn't have significant export sales. Must be in operation for at least one year with strong export plan.
