Montana Vocational Rehabilitation Self-Employment Services
Montana Vocational Rehabilitation can support eligible Montanans with disabilities who are pursuing self-employment as an employment goal.

Eligibility
Montanans with disabilities who are eligible for Vocational Rehabilitation services and have self-employment identified as an appropriate employment goal may receive counseling, planning, referral, and related rehabilitation supports.
Requirements
- Applicant must have a physical or mental disability that creates a barrier to employment and meet Montana Vocational Rehabilitation eligibility rules.
- Applicant must contact a local VRBS office and complete an application with a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
- Self-employment must be determined to be an appropriate vocational goal through the individualized planning process.
