About this program
The Rural Employment Development Incentive provides grant incentives to businesses that create new high-paying jobs in eligible rural Utah counties. The program can award up to $6,000 per new eligible position annually for up to four years, subject to employee eligibility, wage requirements, rural county location, and funding availability. Applications are reviewed in scheduled rounds through the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity.

Requirements
- Business must create eligible new positions in a qualifying rural Utah county.
- New positions must meet wage and employment requirements.
