Skills Development Fund
Customized job training program where Texas community/technical colleges partner with businesses to provide tailored training. Businesses can receive up to $500,000 (more for consortia) for customized training of new and existing workers.
About this program
Typical grant lasts 12 months. Average per-trainee cost is $2,400. TWC accepts proposal submissions throughout the year.
Eligibility
Texas businesses partnering with public community or technical colleges, local Workforce Development Boards, or Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. Trainees must be full-time, W-2 employees.
