1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Forrest Grants ("the Platform"), operated by Forrest Fintech ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including individuals, business owners, and grant writers.

2. Description of Service

Forrest Grants provides:

• Grant and funding discovery: AI-assisted matching of users to grants, loans, tax credits, and other funding programs based on their business profile.
• Eligibility guidance: AI-generated explanations of why a program may or may not be a fit. These are informational only and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
• Forrest Cash: Small business cash advance evaluation using bank account data retrieved via Plaid. Forrest Cash is a discovery and pre-qualification tool; actual funding decisions are made by partner lenders.
• Grant writer marketplace: A directory of independent grant writers available for hire. Forrest Grants does not employ grant writers and is not responsible for services provided by listed professionals.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a business in the United States to use this Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@forrestgrants.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

5. Plaid and Financial Data

Forrest Grants uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to facilitate bank account connections. By connecting your bank account, you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. We access your account data only for the purpose of evaluating eligibility for funding programs and cash advance products. We do not store your bank login credentials.

6. Not Financial or Legal Advice

All content on Forrest Grants, including AI-generated eligibility explanations, grant match scores, and funding guidance, is for informational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, legal, tax, or professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making any financial decisions. Forrest Grants does not guarantee that you will qualify for, be approved for, or receive any grant, loan, or funding program.

7. Grant Writer Marketplace

Grant writers listed on the Platform are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Forrest Fintech. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of any services provided by listed grant writers. Any engagement between you and a grant writer is a separate agreement between you and that individual. Forrest Grants is not a party to and assumes no responsibility for those arrangements.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in your profile or applications.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy Platform content or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security.
• Use the Platform to submit fraudulent grant applications.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, design, code, and branding is the property of Forrest Fintech. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. You retain ownership of any content you submit (business profiles, application materials), and grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide the service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that grant information will be accurate, complete, or current. Grant programs change frequently; always verify program details directly with the funding source.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forrest Fintech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure to obtain funding. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hudson County, New Jersey.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email.
