About this program
Steelers Charities is the charitable arm of the Pittsburgh Steelers, providing grants to nonprofit organizations focused on charitable, scientific, and educational purposes. Priority is given to organizations researching prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of head injuries. The organization also supports the Steelers STEM program partnering with U.S. Steel for Mon Valley area schools and is building a new community football field and youth-recreation complex at Hazelwood Green.
Eligibility
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, with priority for head-injury research organizations and youth-serving groups in the Pittsburgh region.
Requirements
- Be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit
- Operate in the Pittsburgh region or focus on head injury research
- Align with charitable, scientific, or educational purposes
