About this program
FSA Microloans provide smaller farm ownership and operating loans for beginning, niche, specialty crop, direct-market, and small-scale farmers, including eligible New Jersey producers. Deadline notes: Applications are generally accepted through local FSA offices on a rolling basis. Notes: Youth loans are a separate FSA product, but microloans are commonly relevant to beginning and smaller-scale farmers.
Eligibility
Eligible farmers and ranchers, including beginning, small, direct-market, niche, and specialty crop producers who meet FSA credit and farm experience requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through FSA with farm plan, financial information, credit history, production or business records, collateral if required, and eligibility documentation.
