About this program
The Business Development Tax Credit program supports Wisconsin businesses that create or retain jobs, invest capital, train workers, or maintain corporate headquarters operations. Awards are negotiated and must be certified by WEDC.
Eligibility
La Crosse or Wisconsin businesses undertaking eligible economic development projects that meet WEDC certification requirements.
Requirements
- Apply to WEDC before project completion
- Meet job creation, retention, training, or capital investment commitments
- Enter into a contract with WEDC
