AmeriCorps VISTA
AmeriCorps program that places full-time members at nonprofit and grassroots organizations and local government agencies to alleviate poverty in the United States. VISTA members focus on capacity building rather than direct service. Two-phase application: concept paper followed by full project application.

Phase 1 concept paper deadline March 26, 2026. Full application invited if concept is accepted. VISTA members receive living allowance and Segal Education Award.
Eligibility
Public, private, or faith-based nonprofit organizations and local or state agencies committed to alleviating poverty. Applications conducted at the state level to ensure local community needs alignment.
