WVEDA Broadband Loan Insurance Program
Provides loan insurance for broadband infrastructure projects serving unserved or underserved West Virginia areas.
About this program
The WVEDA Broadband Loan Insurance Program helps businesses gain access to credit for broadband infrastructure and development projects in unserved or underserved areas of West Virginia. The program can insure up to 80% of a bank loan or 100% of a letter of credit, with large insured amounts available for qualifying broadband projects.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are businesses pursuing broadband infrastructure or development projects certified by the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council as serving unserved or underserved areas.
Requirements
- Project must involve broadband infrastructure or development in West Virginia.
- Project must serve an unserved or underserved area.
- Project must be certified by the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council.
