Maryland small business grant pathways that either fund local entities to subgrant to businesses or allow eligible businesses in designated Sustainable Communities to apply directly.
Eligibility
Economic development entities may apply for Project Restore 2.0, while eligible new and expanding small businesses in designated Sustainable Communities may apply through Business Boost.
Requirements
- For Project Restore 2.0: organizations must have identified priority vacant storefronts or buildings in local business districts
- Sub-granted businesses must open and be operational by December 2025
- For Business Boost: businesses need capital for growth and/or expansion opportunities
