About this program
The Ohio Brownfield Remediation Program provides grants for assessment and cleanup of contaminated properties so they can be returned to productive use. Cincinnati projects may use the program for brownfield redevelopment in partnership with eligible public or nonprofit entities.
Eligibility
Eligible local governments, land banks, nonprofits, and development partners with qualifying brownfield assessment or remediation projects in Ohio.
Requirements
- Submit eligible brownfield project through state program application cycle
- Provide site information, environmental reports, cleanup plan, budget, match, and redevelopment plan
- Comply with environmental, procurement, eligible cost, reporting, and closeout requirements
