Eligibility
Eligible applicants are small businesses at least 51 percent owned, controlled, and managed by one or more qualifying minority individuals, including American Indian or Alaska Native owners, that meet Rhode Island MBE certification criteria.
Requirements
- Be at least 51 percent owned, controlled, and managed by one or more qualifying Native American or other minority owners.
- Provide required ownership, control, management, business formation, tax, and financial documentation.
- Submit the MBE certification application through the Rhode Island DEDI process.
