About this program
The FastTrack Economic Development Fund helps offset costs incurred by companies locating or expanding in Tennessee when the project's community impact is significant. Grants are made to local governing bodies and may reimburse eligible expenditures such as real property acquisition, building retrofit, new construction, equipment relocation, and other costs not covered by other FastTrack programs.
Eligibility
Eligible projects are exceptional Tennessee business location or expansion projects where the company's impact on the community, measured by jobs, wages, capital investment, or other factors, is significant.
Requirements
- Project must involve a company locating or expanding business operations in Tennessee.
- TNECD must determine the project has significant impact based on job creation, capital investment, wages, or community benefit.
- Grant is made to a local governing body on behalf of the company.
