The Connecticut Communities Challenge Grant supports municipalities, developers, nonprofits, and partners with catalytic projects that create housing, improve public spaces, support small businesses, and strengthen downtown and neighborhood vitality.
Eligibility
Connecticut municipalities, economic development entities, nonprofits, and development partners with eligible transformative community projects, including Naugatuck projects.
Requirements
- Apply during DECD funding rounds
- Submit project narrative, budget, site control, readiness, local approvals, matching funds, and community impact information
- Meet program goals for housing, vibrancy, equity, and economic development
