Atlanta Downtown Storefront Activation Microgrant Program
A microgrant program providing $5,000 to $50,000 to help independent local retail and restaurant businesses activate vacant or underutilized storefronts in Downtown Atlanta (Eastside and Westside TAD areas) ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026 and other major events. Administered by Central Atlanta Progress.

Application opened in early January 2026 with rolling review. Strong encouragement to apply by March 6, 2026, to allow project completion before World Cup. Total $500,000 in funding from Eastside and Westside TADs.
Eligibility
Independent, locally owned retail and restaurant small businesses leasing or planning to lease storefronts in Downtown Atlanta's Eastside or Westside TAD areas. Funds cover tenant improvement costs to accelerate leasing of vacant or underutilized spaces.
