Texas Events Trust Fund Program – Major Sports Events
Texas's Events Trust Fund (including the Major Events Reimbursement Program and Motor Sports Racing Trust Fund) reimburses qualified expenses for major sporting events in Texas. State contribution tied to projected increase in state tax revenues from the event.

Eligibility
Applicants organizing qualified major events (including large motorsports, professional sports, and major amateur sporting events) in Texas. Both state and applicant must contribute. State contribution capped at projected incremental tax revenue.
Requirements
- Must host a qualifying major or motorsports event in Texas
- Apply through Texas Governor's Office Economic Development & Tourism
- Event must demonstrate measurable out-of-state visitor and tax impact
