About this program
Las Cruces can participate in New Mexico Local Economic Development Act projects to assist qualified businesses that stimulate economic development and produce public benefits. LEDA project support may help with land, buildings, infrastructure, and other eligible costs tied to job creation and investment.
Eligibility
Qualifying economic base businesses expanding or relocating in Las Cruces and meeting state and local LEDA requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through the city and meet New Mexico LEDA qualified entity requirements
- Submit project plan, financing, job creation, wages, public benefits, and security documentation
- Receive local and state approvals and comply with performance, clawback, and reporting terms
