HELP-Link Workforce Development Grants help Montana employers cover costs tied to hiring or employing eligible lower-income workers.
About this program
HELP-Link Workforce Development Grants help employers defray the costs of hiring or employing certain eligible lower-income Montanans. Grants may cover wage supplementation, training or testing expenses, first-year health care insurance costs, and required work-related tools, equipment, or attire. The grant total may not exceed $5,000 per eligible employee and employers apply directly through the MontanaWorks HELP-Link application process.
Eligibility
Employers operating in Montana, registered with the Montana Secretary of State or legally exempt, able to submit a W-9, and employing an eligible HELP-Link employee.
Requirements
- Employer must operate within Montana.
- Employer must be registered with the Montana Secretary of State or legally exempt.
- Employer must be willing and able to submit a W-9.
