About this program

The City of Fresno Energy Efficiency Grant Program helps locally owned brick-and-mortar restaurants reduce utility costs and improve efficiency by funding pre-approved energy-related improvements such as kitchen equipment upgrades, retrofits, HVAC, lighting, insulation, and other energy-saving measures.

Eligibility

Locally owned brick-and-mortar restaurants located in the City of Fresno that are not national chains or franchises and hold a current Fresno business tax certificate.

Requirements

  • Submit interest form before making purchases or starting work
  • Provide Fresno business tax certificate, restaurant location, project scope, and ownership information
  • Receive approval before installing eligible energy improvements and provide cost documentation
