The Technical Skills Training Grant helps North Dakota employers and training providers launch or expand rapid non-degree workforce training.
About this program
The North Dakota Technical Skills Training Grant offsets costs for eligible employers, training providers, colleges, nonprofits, municipalities, and trade organizations that design, launch, or expand rapid non-degree reskilling and upskilling programs tied to in-demand occupations. The online application period is open, and all tracks require a one-to-one match. Track A supports new or expanded accelerated training up to $200,000, Track B supports internal employer upskilling up to $100,000, and Track C supports automation-related workforce training up to $200,000 or feasibility studies up to $100,000.
Eligibility
North Dakota businesses, eligible training providers, colleges and universities, nonprofits, city or county municipalities, and trade organizations registered and in good standing with the North Dakota Secretary of State.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an eligible North Dakota organization registered and in good standing with the Secretary of State.
- Training must take place in North Dakota.
- Majority of participants must reside and intend to work in North Dakota.
