The SBA 504 loan program provides long-term financing for major fixed assets such as owner-occupied buildings, construction, renovations, and heavy equipment, which can support New Jersey contractors and home services businesses with capital projects. Deadline notes: Applications are accepted through lenders and Certified Development Companies on a rolling basis. Notes: Included because construction, renovation, and equipment are explicit eligible uses; not a grant.
Eligibility
For-profit small businesses operating in the United States that meet SBA size, occupancy, use-of-proceeds, credit, and job creation or public policy requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through a lender and CDC with business financials, tax returns, project budget, construction or equipment plans, collateral, ownership documents, and SBA forms.
