USDA Rural Energy for America Program provides grants and guaranteed loans to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems and energy efficiency improvements in eligible rural areas of New Mexico.
Eligibility
New Mexico agricultural producers and rural small businesses meeting USDA REAP eligibility, including eligible Taos and Taos County projects.
Requirements
- Apply through USDA Rural Development New Mexico
- Submit energy audit or assessment, project budget, technical reports, and financial documentation
- Meet rural eligibility, environmental, procurement, and matching fund requirements
