About this program
Transformational Brownfield Plans allow approved projects to use certain tax captures to support major redevelopment of contaminated, blighted, functionally obsolete, or historic properties with significant community and economic impact.
Eligibility
Large-scale eligible redevelopment projects sponsored through an approved brownfield redevelopment authority and approved by the Michigan Strategic Fund.
Requirements
- Develop an eligible transformational brownfield project
- Secure local brownfield authority support
- Receive Michigan Strategic Fund approval
