Maine 4-H Egg Business Project (Hancock & Washington Counties)
Year-long 4-H business and entrepreneurship project for Maine youth ages 11–18 in Hancock and Washington counties; participants raise hens, produce eggs, and operate a real egg business learning business planning, record keeping, food safety, and animal husbandry under a trained 4-H leader; run in partnership with Machias Savings Bank and the Hawes Family 4-H Endowment; 2025 enrollment closed, 2026 enrollment pending.

Eligibility
Maine youth ages 11–18 enrolled in 4-H in Hancock and Washington counties; priority given to youth who haven't previously participated; guardian involvement required.

- Enrolled or willing to enroll in 4-H
- Guardian commitment required for the year-long project
