San Francisco Storefront Opportunity Grant
$50,000 to $100,000 grants to help established and new businesses open a brick-and-mortar location and offset first-year operating costs. Designed to fill vacant storefronts in target neighborhoods (Tenderloin, Excelsior, Visitacion Valley) as part of Mayor Daniel Lurie's downtown revitalization efforts.

Application closes May 29, 2026 at 5:00 PM, or until funding exhausted. Part of $6.3 million SF small business package announced March 2026.
Eligibility
Existing revenue-generating businesses with at least 3 years of operations, 100 or fewer employees, and $5 million or less in annual revenue, with a newly signed lease (starting October 1, 2025 or later) for a qualifying ground-floor storefront. New businesses also eligible for the new round of funding. Space must be open to the public and meet city compliance.
