Independence Power & Light offers commercial and industrial rebates up to $20,000 for eligible energy-efficiency projects.
About this program
Independence Power & Light offers commercial rebate incentives for business and industrial utility customers that install eligible energy-saving measures. Customers may apply for prescriptive rebates for air-conditioning upgrades or custom rebates for qualifying projects that do not fit prescriptive categories, with total annual rebates capped at the lesser of $20,000 or 30% of total project cost.
Eligibility
Commercial and industrial Independence Power & Light customers undertaking eligible energy-efficiency projects may apply for rebates.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an Independence Power & Light commercial or industrial customer.
- Project must fit an eligible prescriptive category or qualify as a custom energy-saving project.
- Custom rebate projects must have a simple payback between two and ten years.
