Grants of $10,000 to nonprofit organizations that provide business training, technical assistance, or financing to Washington's smallest businesses (5 or fewer employees). Not direct-to-business — but small businesses access services and capital through these grantee organizations.

Small business owners benefit indirectly. Useful for knowing which nonprofits in your area receive WSMA funding — they typically offer free workshops and 1:1 TA. Funded by WA Department of Commerce.
Eligibility
Nonprofit business technical assistance providers serving Washington microbusinesses (under 5 employees) with at least 2 years of experience and capacity to serve 35+ unduplicated businesses during grant period. Indirect benefit to microbusinesses through grantee organizations.
