About this program
EQIP provides technical and financial assistance to New Jersey agricultural producers for conservation practices, including energy, soil health, water quality, high tunnels, irrigation, nutrient management, and climate-smart practices. Deadline notes: Applications are accepted year-round, with ranking cutoff dates announced by NRCS New Jersey. Notes: Historically underserved producers may receive special consideration or higher payment rates.
Eligibility
Eligible agricultural producers and landowners in New Jersey with resource concerns and control of land where conservation practices will be installed.
Requirements
- Apply through NRCS with farm records, land control documentation, conservation objectives, eligibility forms, and conservation planning information.
