About this program
Cleveland’s Storefront Renovation Program helps improve the exteriors of neighborhood retail buildings with design assistance and rebate support. The program is intended to make Cleveland commercial districts more attractive, economically viable, and diverse places to visit and shop.
Eligibility
Eligible Cleveland commercial property owners and tenant businesses completing approved exterior storefront improvements.
Requirements
- Confirm property and project eligibility with the Storefront Renovation Program
- Enter a rebate agreement before performing eligible work
- Submit design review materials, estimates, owner consent if needed, invoices, and reimbursement documentation
