About this program
The City of Gary's Love Your Block program provides mini-grants and City support for resident-led projects that improve neighborhood quality of life. Eligible projects can include cleanups, beautification, community gardens, public space improvements, and other neighborhood revitalization activities that are planned and carried out by local residents or community groups.
Eligibility
Gary residents, neighborhood groups, block clubs, and community organizations with eligible neighborhood improvement projects in the City of Gary may apply.
Requirements
- Project must take place within the City of Gary.
- Applicant must propose a resident-led neighborhood improvement or beautification project.
- Applicant must submit a project plan, budget, location, and volunteer or community participation information.
