About this program

The Kansas High Performance Incentive Program encourages capital investment and workforce development by eligible companies. Approved businesses can receive a 10% income tax credit for qualified capital investment and a sales tax exemption for eligible purchases tied to the project. Companies must meet wage, training, and business activity requirements.

Eligibility

Eligible for-profit businesses in qualifying industries that meet wage and training requirements may apply for HPIP certification and benefits.

Requirements

  • Business must be a for-profit company in an eligible NAICS activity.
  • Company must pay above-average wages based on program requirements.
  • Company must make qualifying investment in facilities, machinery, equipment, or other eligible property.
